Jacob Dickerson
Lead Pastor
Jacob became the lead pastor of Destination Community Church on July 19th, 2021.
He has twelve years of ministry experience, serving in Student Ministry at New Prospect Baptist Church in Hamilton, MS, and later as Next Steps Pastor and Community Groups Pastor at Mosaic Church in Ocean Springs, MS before joining DCC.
Jacob earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Blue Mountain College and a Master of Divinity (M.Div.,) in Expository Preaching from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is passionate about the Bible and believes it contains deep, expository content and relevant application for everyday life.
In his free time, Jacob enjoys golf, grilling, watching college sports, and spending quality time with his wife, Molly, and sons, Levi and Noah.
